Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Stanley, Wisconsin. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy hospital setting. The role requires delivering compassionate patient care while adhering to clinical protocols and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin or Compact State Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). A minimum of two years of emergency room experience is preferred. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Candidate must be a hard worker with excellent time management, resilience, adaptability to change, social skills, dependability, accountability, compassion, and a positive attitude.

• Float: Float rotation may be required to similar units and other Aspirus locations including Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley.
• Additional Information:
  • The candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility and be available to start as soon as possible.
  • This contract is for 13 weeks and is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.
  • The position involves working every third weekend and alternating holiday rotations (every other holiday).
  • Scrub colors are flexible and any color is acceptable.
  • Orientation week does not require GSA.
