Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS and ACLS. Education and experience requirements include current acute care hospital progressive care unit (PCU) experience of at least 1 year. Location requirement includes working in Thornton, Colorado.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac experience, prior Meditech experience, NIH certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit features a newly opened, high-tech environment with ADA/Bari rooms equipped with room Hoyer lifts (x2). It boasts an excellent team culture and a broad range of nursing experiences. The patient mix includes elective orthopedics, spine, GYN surgeries, cath lab procedures, stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, respiratory failure, and cardiac drips. The self-scheduling process allows schedule planning three weeks in advance, facilitating trade arrangements.
