Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse located in Torrance, California. This position involves supporting the Labor and Delivery Department in a high-volume acute care hospital. The role requires a dedicated caregiver capable of supporting 12-hour night shifts, with focus on patient-centered care for neonatal and obstetric patients.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California license; minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP; experience with electronic fetal monitoring (Electronic Fetal Heart Monitorin); experience with labor and delivery procedures and neonatal care; strong caregiver support skills; flexible for weekends, holidays, and floating between units including mother-baby.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Precepting skills, experience supporting high-risk obstetric cases, familiarity with Epic charting system.
  • Float: Float to mother-baby unit may be required.
  • Additional Information: Must be flexible working weekends, support PM shift, and accommodate block scheduling at the discretion of the manager. Must include RTO requests at time of submission. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or related specialty and meet all certification requirements prior to submission.
