Description

Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, is seeking a registered nurse for a maternity unit. This position involves working a rotating schedule with shifts including both night and day hours. The role requires clinical expertise in obstetric nursing and provides an opportunity to deliver quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, including two 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and two 8-hour day shifts.
Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of circulating experience in a labor and delivery setting, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, with recent Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) at at least an intermediate level.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics certifications, Perinatal NCC certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing - Level I and Postpartum or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and Birth), and First Latch (breastfeeding certification).
