Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

• Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado

• Shift: Weekday Day Shift, 8 hours per day

• Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, based on department operations

• Start Date: 08/17/2026

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited RN program; current Colorado RN license in good standing; current AHA BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications as required by the department; previous travel nursing experience; previous Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience; relevant experience in Pre-Operative Nursing, PACU, perioperative settings, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care Unit; ability to independently manage post-anesthesia patients, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately; strong skills in IV therapy, medication administration, airway management, pain management, and patient assessment; no new graduates considered; candidates without prior travel or Cerner EHR experience will not be considered.

• Additional Information: The surgical services department is closed on holidays, and hours may be reduced during holiday weeks. Candidates must understand and accept this scheduling requirement before submission.
