Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (Surgical Technologist/Operating Room Technician) to join the perioperative services team at a critical access hospital located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. This role involves working alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff to support surgical procedures, promote patient safety, and maintain a sterile environment. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technologist to gain diverse clinical experience in a rural healthcare setting while contributing to community-focused patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Saint Johnsbury, Vermont
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/12/2026
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program; current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential; current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association; previous operating room experience; strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures; ability to participate in call coverage and respond within required timeframes.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing accommodations during the assignment. The role requires reliable personal transportation, as public transportation is limited. During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to the midweek start.
