Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing critical nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center within a regional referral hospital known for clinical excellence. The role requires a proactive and team-oriented individual capable of handling a diverse patient population across various clinical scenarios.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shifts vary, upon interview the director will inquire about the candidates shift preference.
• Required Qualifications: Basic nursing skills, with at least 1 year of experience in emergency or critical care settings. Certifications required include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience and certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.
• Float: No float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Must have all Pennsylvania clearances including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting, and PA State Police Clearance completed prior to start. Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must meet non-negotiable requirements including national and state clearances, drug screening within the last 90 days, and must have all clearances uploaded and verified prior to employment start date of 08/31/2026.
