Description
Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse position is located in San Leandro, California. This role involves providing specialized maternity care to patients during labor and delivery, supporting high-risk obstetric cases, and ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns. The position is scheduled for night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP); 1 year of recent full-time experience within the last 3 years in a labor and delivery setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; 5+ years of recent experience in labor and delivery within the last two years; high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years; high-risk obstetrics experience preferred
- Additional Information: The candidate must have ACLS certification. Enable skills-based hiring and assessment are not specified, but relevant licensure and certifications are required.
