Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Longview, TX. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within the emergency department setting. The nurse will practice independently, demonstrate awareness of relevant clinical aspects, and deliver routine and complex care while developing long-term patient management plans. The role requires the ability to prioritize and adapt to various clinical scenarios to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes working 6 days within a 6-week period.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications issued by the American Heart Association; RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license.
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in emergency nursing or related specialty.
• Additional Information: All newly hired experienced Registered Nurses must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. Orientation includes precepted training by a designated staff member, competency validation, and participation in an emergency department-specific residency or orientation program culminating in documented competency completion and annual refreshers.
