Description
Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Neurology Floor (MS NEURO) Registered Nurse position is available in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized patient care on a neuro-focused unit within a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to float across units and facilities, demonstrating proficiency in neuro skills and meeting all specified certification requirements.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
- Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: California licensed Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience, BLS and NIHSS certifications, proficient neuro skills (all skills rated as 3 or 4), recent experience with neuro patients, and able to work in Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neurovascular acute care experience and NIHSS certification preferred.
- Additional Information: Must have reliable transportation, as this role requires a vehicle. Travel may include floating to nearby facilities, with potential incentives for floating to specific locations. Candidates should be prepared to work holiday shifts and request any time off during application submission. All candidates must provide two references covering at least one year within the past three years.
