Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Chandler, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department. Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift (12-hour shift) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and experience in a labor and delivery setting of at least one year within the past 12 months
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification in obstetric nursing
- Additional Information: The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and effective care, documenting assessments and interventions accurately, and providing education and support to patients and their families during labor and delivery. The position may also involve participating in quality improvement activities and unit leadership.
