Description
Job Summary:
Home Healthcare specialty position based in Redding, California. This home health role involves providing direct patient care focusing on wound care, ostomy management, and cardiac-related conditions such as CHF and pneumonia. The position supports routine visits with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. No weekends or holidays required.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; valid driver's license and insurance; minimum two years of experience in home healthcare; experience with HomeCare HomeBase electronic health record system; experience with wound vacs, ostomies, and general wound care.
- Float: No floating required.
- Additional Information: Orientation will be limited to a week focused on home health care procedures. The role does not include case management or patient scheduling responsibilities and thus involves no on-call or standby duties. The environment is rural with access to outdoor recreational activities. Travel staff will not be expected to bathe patients. Charting will be done on Samsung tablets, and a cell phone will be provided.
