Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
• Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Schedule: Shift hours are 12 hours; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, minimum of 2 years Med Surg/Telemetry experience, prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment, must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry rhythm interpretation, ability to float to other units within competency, flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts, with schedule varying based on departmental needs.
• Additional Information: Travelers must be capable of floating as needed up to their competency level. An additional shift may be required during the schedule period. The organization reserves the right to notify of schedule changes with 48 hours' notice for low census periods. The position offers the opportunity to work in a trauma center with advanced technology and specialized services, including robotic surgery and neuroscience.
