Job Summary:
The emergency room (ER) nurse position is located in a major trauma center setting within a designated healthcare facility. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a high-acuity environment. The incumbent will utilize advanced nursing skills and clinical knowledge to ensure optimal patient outcomes, supporting the facility's commitment to excellence in emergency care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, weekly guaranteed hours are 36.
- Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start; certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC; two years of experience in a Pediatric Emergency Room; excellent documentation skills and the ability to provide compassionate, quality patient care with comfort in pediatric resuscitation and critically ill children.

- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet organizational needs, up to the level of competency.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to different departments based on organizational needs. The candidate will be expected to pick up one additional shift during the scheduling period. The organization reserves the right to call off shifts within 48 hours for low census, as per a 13-week contract. Schedule variations may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
