Description
Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a healthcare facility located in Farmington, New Mexico. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult to geriatric patients with a focus on cardiac and IMC (Intermediate Care) units, utilizing standard cardiology monitoring equipment and IV therapy. This position offers an opportunity to work in a reputable facility serving the Four Corners region, with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: An active RN license, at least 1 year of experience in cardiology or IMC, effective for candidates with 0 or more years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in IMC and cardiac care
- Float: Float rotation is expected to any unit of need, including PCU, Medical, Surgical, and Nephrology units
- Additional Information:
- Unit comprises 24 beds with patient ratios of 1 RN to 4-6 patients depending on shift and patient acuity
- Equipment includes telemetry monitors, IV pumps, and crash carts
- The facility provides adult to geriatric care
- Start date is scheduled for 08/24/2026
