Description
Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position is located in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care for neonatal patients within a Level 3 NICU or higher, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge. The nurse will be responsible for delivering individualized, safe, and effective care to neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada State Registered Nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, a minimum of 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in level 3 NICU or higher, ventilator training, and prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be asked to float to meet department needs up to their competency level. They will be required to pick up one additional shift during the scheduled period. The organization reserves the right to call off shifts without penalty with 48 hours' notice, based on patient census. Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
