Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse position in Thornton, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume interventional radiology unit. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and collaborate closely with imaging departments, supporting patient care through a variety of vascular and critical care procedures.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 09/07/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; Education: current RN license; Experience: minimum 1-year current acute care IR RN experience; Location: Colorado; Years of Experience: 1 year
  • Preferred Qualifications: Meditech experience; Good vascular access skills; PICC line or midline experience
  • Additional Information: Candidates without the specified skills and experience will not be considered. The unit performs procedures such as para/thora/LVO/FNA/midline/PICClne/Kypho/PE thrombectomy, vascular access, conscious sedation, and critical care. The IR department maintains a close working relationship with imaging departments and emphasizes a supportive environment, celebrating team successes and fostering professional growth. On-call responsibilities include evenings from 5 PM to 7 AM on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends, with 7-9 shifts per month.
