Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position available in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves providing direct clinical care to neonatal patients within the unit, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and competent nursing care. The NICU nurse collaborates closely with the facility's chief nursing officer to maintain operational excellence and patient safety standards.
Job Details:
- Location: Detroit, MI
- Position Description: The NICU Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role includes supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and supporting the facility's chief nursing officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, as well as maintaining clinical staff competency and managing resources related to patient care.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ability to work days, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent, minimum of 1 year professional nursing experience, and located within commuting distance of Detroit, MI.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role requires providing direct patient care in a neonatal intensive care setting, supervising assigned staff, and supporting the facility's quality and safety initiatives.
