Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Washington, District of Columbia. This position involves providing specialized urgent medical care to infants, children, and young adults in an Emergency Room setting. The RN will deliver clinical practice and care coordination in accordance with hospital policies and standards, demonstrating leadership and commitment to Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; DC RN license required; two years of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting; recent Pediatric Emergency Room experience; certifications including TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS; valid DC RN license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations; demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety; proven track record of employment stability for a minimum of two years.
- Additional Information: The candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility and be available to work rotating shifts in this urgent care environment.
