Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse opportunity is located in Burlington, Vermont. The role involves working in a specialized unit providing care for patients requiring enhanced monitoring and post-procedural recovery. The position requires flexibility to meet the units operational needs and includes rotational day and night shifts.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating day and night shifts
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; experience in a large trauma level 1 teaching facility; specialized experience in Cardiology including post catheterization, STEMI, and structural heart patients; recent Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years.
- Additional Information: Travel (101 miles+), Radius (51-100 miles), Local (50 miles or less) levels determined by direct line measurement; floating is not required; schedule includes commitments from Monday to Sunday with bi-weekly orientations on Monday; all employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained; comprehensive work history including bed count, facility type, and EMR details is mandatory for submission.
