Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry for a facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing patient care within the medical-surgical unit, including telemetry monitoring, following established protocols, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The role requires adaptability and adherence to clinical standards to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification or Motion Analysis Behavioral (MAB), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Must be able to read telemetry strips, and able to work upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Candidate must be willing to work within scope of practice and may be required to serve as charge or preceptor. Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The facility permits cancellation of one shift every four weeks during the contract. Candidates will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution; failure to pass may result in contract cancellation.
