Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse is needed in Garrison, North Dakota. This role involves providing nursing care in a 26-bed long-term care facility with a focus on patients experiencing conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. The Nurse will act as charge and perform duties including medicating patients and wound care, with a schedule of day shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Garrison, North Dakota
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other week end.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse, BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of LTC experience; experience with wound care and medication administration.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position requires the Nurse to serve as a charge nurse, manage pass medication, and perform wound care in a long-term care setting. No IVs or titratable drips are involved. The facility uses the MatrixCare/MatrixBSN charting system. Staffing involves nurses in a 1:10 ratio on the day shift.
