Description
Job Summary:
Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients in a home health and hospice setting. The candidate will deliver personalized patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patients and families through advanced directives and symptom management.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8-hour days
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon and Washington licensure, BLS certification, at least 1 year of skilled hospice experience, reliable transportation, strong clinical skills in home health/hospice, cultural awareness, experience with death pronouncement, death/dying counseling, postmortem care, advanced directives, pain management, IV therapy, patient and family education, and experience with hospice-specific procedures and symptoms.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting systems (EPIC or similar).
- Additional Information: The assignment is in a home health/hospice setting with patients primarily adults and geriatric populations. The facility supports interpretation and social services. The traveler should be prepared for occasional travel within a 50+ mile radius, serving patients in both Oregon and Washington, and must have both licenses in hand.
