Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical Oncology (MS ONC) position available in the Connecticut area. The selected candidate will provide high-quality patient care on a medical surgical oncology floor, working night shifts. This role involves working every third weekend, with no call required, and supports holiday coverage. The assignment is for approximately 13 to 16 weeks, with a focus on delivering compassionate care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Location: 100 HOSPITAL DRIVE, FARMINGTON, Connecticut, 06030
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid CT nursing license or compact license at the time of submission; BLS certification; at least 1 year of clinical experience; chemotherapy and telemetry experience preferred; Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chemotherapy, telemetry units, and oncology certifications.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires IV insertion skills and familiarity with chemotherapy protocols. Candidate will undergo an interview with the manager to receive an offer. A 75-mile radius rule applies for local candidates. During the assignment, staff may be scheduled for additional hours to ensure patient coverage.
