Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Lancaster, Ohio. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the labor and delivery department. The role requires supervision of co-workers and delegation of appropriate tasks, all in accordance with established policies and procedures. The RN will provide patient education and ensure quality care from admission through discharge.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio; Associate degree in nursing preferred; Bachelors degree in nursing is also acceptable; CPR certification; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred; ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate critical thinking, and handle multiple priorities.
• Additional Information: Position requires supervision and delegation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage urgent situations calmly. Position may involve frequent patient handling activities.
