Description
Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a healthcare facility located in Elko, Nevada. The role involves providing post-operative patient care within a busy surgical unit, supporting patients from recovery through stabilization. The assignment offers an opportunity to work in a rural setting with a patient population that spans pediatric to geriatric ages.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 08/24/2026.
- Required Qualifications: RN license with ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications; 2 years of experience in acute hospital settings; experience in Pre-operative, PACU, and Phase II units; IV skills; previous travel assignment preferred.
- Additional Information: Unit handles total joint procedures, laparoscopic appendectomies and cholecystectomies, FESS, T&A, thyroidectomy, hysterectomy, D&C, C-section, cath lab pacemaker, and cardioversion. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong clinical background in perioperative care.
