Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in a hospital setting in Johnstown, PA. This role involves providing critical care and emergency services to a diverse patient population. The position requires the candidate to work rotating shifts and be prepared for a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Job Details

Location: Johnstown, PA
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 1 year of experience in emergency or critical care nursing; Must have all Pennsylvania Child Abuse and FBI Department of Aging fingerprint clearances uploaded prior to start; Must submit Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance online and complete fingerprinting at designated sites.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, critical care experience; Certification in trauma nursing (CEN) preferred.
Additional Information: The ER handles a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Orientation sessions are held weekly on Mondays. The position is scheduled to start on 09/28/2026 and end on 10/20/2026. Candidates must be located at least 60 miles away from the facility to qualify for the travel rate.
