Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse opportunity in Sioux City, Iowa. This position involves working in a high-acuity trauma center within a facility dedicated to providing outstanding emergency care. The role requires contributing to patient care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Candidates should be prepared for a flexible schedule, including working one to two out of three summer holidays.
Job Details
- Location: Sioux City, Iowa
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC; all certification copies required at submission
- Education & Experience: 1 year emergency room experience required; valid Iowa state license required; drivers license and work history/resume required; skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission; references 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission; license verification required
- Additional Notes: Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility or qualifying locals with a 10% rate reduction; understanding of emergency care protocols and trauma center procedures is essential.
- Orientation schedule includes multiple sessions from June through August.
- Submission Requirements: Complete certifications, license verification, drivers license, and work history/resume.
