Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a healthcare facility in Plano, Texas. This assignment involves providing patient care in a Stepdown telemetry unit, requiring clinical expertise, adherence to hospital policies, and strong communication skills. The position is for a night shift, with a commitment of 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: 3901 W 15th Street, Plano, TX 75075
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Number of Positions: 2
• Required Qualifications: Valid active RN license, a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, at least 2 years of specialty experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown units, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, prior experience in PCU or Stepdown units.
• Special Skills/Experience: Candidates must have demonstrated experience within hospital settings, specifically in telemetry or progressive care, with certifications active and current.
• Dress Code: RNs are expected to wear royal blue scrubs. Nails should be clean and healthy without artificial enhancements, hair neat and tied back if shoulder-length or longer, tattoos covered as possible, and visible piercings limited to ears only.
• Unit Policies & Guidelines: Floating may be required as needed; attendance policies are aligned with organizational standards.
