Description
Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in Castro Valley, California. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position supports all acute emergencies presenting to the department, with a focus on trauma and stroke certification standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications; minimum of 0 years of experience; ability to work in a Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Certified Facility; experience with Emergency Department patient care including trauma, stroke, pediatrics, and adult emergencies.
- Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, LTAC experience, and previous charge experience.
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: TNCC certification is required within 90 days of start date.
- Additional Information: Ability to manage arterial lines, ventilated patients, abdominal pain, burns, neuro-trauma, and other critical emergencies. Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
