Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves providing direct surgical support within the operating room, assisting with sterile procedures, and ensuring a smooth surgical workflow. The role requires working in high-stakes environments across various specialties, including neuro, robotics, trauma, and ENT.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and eligibility to work in Oklahoma.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, robotics, trauma, and ENT procedures. Prior experience with radical neck procedures is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The position involves assisting surgeons by preparing the operating room, handling surgical instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and supporting intra-operative activities such as passing instruments and tissue retraction. Responsibilities also include pre-operative setup, patient preparation, post-operative dressing application, and specimen handling. Must be flexible to take call and work holidays. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and decisive judgment.
