Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nursing position is located in Lancaster, Ohio. This role involves providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia, assessing their needs, implementing appropriate interventions, and ensuring safe and effective patient recovery. The registered nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality post-operative care and monitor patient progress throughout the recovery process.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma in Nursing, Associate degree in Nursing, or Bachelors degree in Nursing), valid Ohio nursing license, CPR certification, and 3 years of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for post-anesthesia patients according to established pathways. Responsibilities include patient assessments, education for patients and families, administration of medications and treatments, and accurate documentation of care. The role requires physical capacity to handle heavy work and the ability to manage urgent and stressful situations calmly. The position begins on 08/24/2026 at the Lancaster, Ohio location.
