Emergency Room Nurse Jamestown, North Dakota. This position involves coordinating comprehensive nursing care for patients across all age groups in a busy emergency department setting. The role requires providing leadership and working collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure high standards of patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts averaging 12 hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week; shifts include day/night rotation. The nurse will not work alone and every third weekend is required.
• Required Qualifications: Must hold a current RN licensure from the North Dakota State Board of Nursing or a compact state. At least one year of previous emergency room experience is required; cardiac knowledge is preferred. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting (EPIC-ASAP module) is preferred. Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are assets.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes hospital and department-specific training, with a non-billable orientation of 8 hours. The department utilizes EPIC for charting. The role involves floating to other units/departments as needed, but the nurse will not float in this assignment.
