Description

Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician position located in Juneau, Alaska. This role involves providing technical support in the operating room within an acute care setting. It requires adherence to clinical standards and the ability to work effectively during 10-hour day shifts with on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

Schedule: 10-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (American Heart Association); active licensure to submit; two years of experience in surgical technology or related field; location in Juneau, Alaska
Preferred Qualifications: None specified
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The candidate will support surgical procedures, maintaining sterility and assisting the surgical team. Compliance with facility policies, including the cancellation policy requiring a 30-day notice, is expected.
