Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Lansing, Michigan. This position involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Michigan state license; 3 years of recent emergency department experience required; telehealth experience preferred; previous travel experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with emergency room procedures and patient management in high-stress situations
- Additional Information: Nurses will face urgent, life-or-death situations daily; strong communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and families. The role demands patience, calmness under pressure, and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
