Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is located in San Antonio, Texas. This position involves providing critical care to post-transplant patients in an outpatient post-transplant kidney clinic setting. The role requires managing a high-volume patient caseload, performing assessments, coordinating testing, and entering electronic prescriptions within a fast-paced environment on a day shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS); 1 year of experience in ICU or relevant patient care setting; Texas state licensure or appropriate credentialing; no specific location requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively; critical thinking skills; excellent customer service; experience with patient triage, high call volume management, and independent work
• Additional Information: The candidate will assist in triaging post-transplant patient calls, reviewing lab results, scheduling diagnostic tests, entering prescriptions, and performing patient assessments if needed. A positive, self-driven personality capable of managing high patient volumes and tasks is ideal.
