Description

Job Summary:
The Post Partum Floor Nurse is expected to provide specialized care for women in the postpartum period in a healthcare facility located in Portland, Maine. This position involves supporting new mothers and their infants through various stages of recovery and stabilization during the postpartum phase, ensuring safety, comfort, and appropriate clinical interventions.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 1 year of clinical experience, educational background in nursing.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience on the postpartum floor or in maternal-child health.
  • Additional Information: The position is created to provide coverage for leave, supporting staffing needs on the postpartum unit. The assignment begins on 09/07/2026. The facility employs electronic medical records (EMR), with dress code and parking details to be confirmed upon onboarding.
