Job Summary:
The operating room professional specializing as a certified operating room technician is sought for a healthcare facility located in Portland, Maine. The role involves supporting gynecology and genitourinary procedures within a Level One trauma center. The position requires expertise in robotics and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Job Details:
- Position: Certified Operating Room Technician (OR TECH)
- Location: 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, Maine 04102
- Facility Department/Cost Center: Operating Room, 140.823273
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, from 09/07/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications & Education: Certified operating room technician required, with at least 2 years of experience and Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Additional Requirements: Strong skills in robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomy procedures, ureteral reimplantations, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopy procedures. Candidate must be adaptable to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Patient Population: Supportive of pediatric to geriatric patients in an operating room setting.
- Personality Traits: Flexible, accountable, timely, team player.
- Dress Code: Teal scrubs issued from the hospital.
