Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Specialist with Open Heart (OH) experience for a facility location in San Bernardino, California. The position primarily involves working in the operating room environment, with a focus on cardiac procedures. The role requires the ability to perform single scrubbing in cardiac cases and flexibility to cover other surgical specialties such as orthopedics, neurology, vascular, robotics, urology, general surgery, and gynecology. The assignment begins on August 31, 2026, and offers a 10-hour shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: San Bernardino, California
• Type: Acute care setting
• Shift Schedule: 10-hour shifts, from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, Thursdays off, with weekend and call responsibilities as required. First to float to other units if needed.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), and a valid license to submit. Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room settings, specifically with open heart procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac scrub in OR setting.
• Additional Information: The facility policy allows for cancellation of up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment.
