A licensed healthcare professional with experience in labor and delivery post-partum care is sought for a facility located in Traverse City, Michigan. The role involves providing high-risk labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and neonatal care, with circulating duties in the operating room and OB triage. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with varied clinical responsibilities.
Job Details
- Position: Postpartum Floor Nurse in a labor and delivery setting
- Location: Traverse City, Michigan
- Schedule: Nights shift, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days per week, totaling 36 hours per week
- Holidays and Weekends: As needed
- On-Call: As needed
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Intermediate or Advanced certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) in electronic fetal monitoring (C-EFM) in place of AWHONN, C-FMC (Inteleos)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in labor and delivery, postpartum, or related obstetric care; experience in high-risk obstetrics, circulating in the operating room, postpartum care, antepartum, newborn care, and OB triage preferred
- Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Additional information: No guaranteed hours, with on-call and as-needed responsibilities; candidate must be adaptable to varied clinical scenarios and operational demands
