Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (MS Oncology) Reno, NV. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a busy oncology unit that serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role includes administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/08/2026.
- Required Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start; BLS certification required; 2+ years RN experience, including at least 1 year in Oncology, with recent 6 months chemo/oncology experience; valid Certification in Basic Life Support; experience in medical surgical oncology preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification preferred.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to departmental needs up to their competency level. May need to pick up an additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts, with a requirement to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day count as 1 holiday).
