Job Summary:
This is a Step Down Unit position located in Lufkin, Texas. The role involves providing specialized care in a dedicated step-down setting, with a focus on patient monitoring and managing a variety of clinical conditions. Job Details:

• Location: Lufkin, Texas
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years of experience working in a step-down or similar acute care setting; appropriate license to submit application.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac drip titration, cath lab recovery, and observation units; knowledge in pulling sheaths, monitoring sites, and general med/surg patient care.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a Days schedule, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Facility notes specify a need for cardiac drip titration experience, cath lab recovery and observation unit work, including experience pulling sheaths, monitoring sites, and general med/surg knowledge. The candidate should be comfortable working in an acute division with a trauma level care setting.
