Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) based in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a Level 2 ICU setting that features specialized programs such as open heart, cath lab, neuro-surgery, trauma, and CRRT. The position offers an opportunity to work within a prominent healthcare facility serving a diverse patient population in a dynamic environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), 2 years of PCU experience, located at least 60 miles from the facility
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in CVICU, Neuro ICU, organ donation, and pediatric DKA nursing
- Float: Float rotation may be required, with staffing done on a rotational basis with travel nurses
- Additional Information: Floating responsibilities are part of rotation schedules. The environment includes advanced equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, vents, bipap, and high flow oxygen. Electronic health record system is Cerner. The position is a contractor replacement, starting on 08/31/2026.
