Job Summary:
The Oregon City, Oregon healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery (L&D) professional for a night shift position. This role involves floating between units as needed within the facility, providing critical obstetric and neonatal care in a Level II maternity unit with a Level I nursery. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that supports a wide range of obstetric and neonatal patient needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Oregon City, OR
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, certifications in AWHONN Advanced*, BLS, NRP, STABLE, valid Oregon state license or pending license, and experience with the Epic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, Level II maternity experience, and prior float or cross-unit experience.
• Responsibility Details: Assist with a variety of obstetric procedures including high-risk deliveries, cesarean sections, postpartum care, neonatal resuscitation, and patient education. Candidates may be required to float to other units or facilities in the region based on skill set needs.
• Schedule & Additional Information:
  • Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
  • On-call is not required.
  • Candidates should be flexible to work every other or every third weekend and may need to work holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
  • RTO (Request for Time Off) requests must be made upfront, with agreements on floating to sister facilities, which may include incentives and accommodations.
  • Candidates should have at least 2 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery, with specific charting experience in Epic.
  • Must include 2 references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
  • This role involves floating within hospital or to nearby facilities and potentially working with various interdisciplinary teams.
