Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Redwood City, California. This position involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license; current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from an accredited college or university preferred; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an Operating Room setting and familiarity with surgical procedures are desirable.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for assessing patients pre-operatively, assisting during procedures, and providing post-operative care. The role includes teaching patients and families about perioperative procedures, monitoring patient condition, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The nurse must demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to respond rapidly to emergencies, and commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
