Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Marquette, Michigan. The role involves providing patient care across all ages over 28 days in a mixed medical-surgical unit with a focus on trauma and post-orthopedic/neuro cases. The schedule is for night shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, catering to experienced healthcare professionals who thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Job Details
- Location: Marquette, MI
- Shift: Night shift, 12 hours
- Schedule: Night shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, and valid medical license in Michigan
- Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification and experience in trauma, orthopedic, or neuro patient care
- Float: Float rotation may be required to inpatient units as needed
- Additional Information:
- Unit features 24 beds with patient ratios of 1:6
- Experience in trauma, post-orthopedic/neuro, and general pediatric care preferred
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems include Paragon transitioning to Cerner on 03/01/2024
- Teamwork and collaboration are essential personality traits for success in this role
