Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking an Operating Room First Assistant (ORFA) at a facility in Willoughby, Ohio. This position involves providing surgical assistance within the operating room environment, supporting surgical teams during procedures, and ensuring patient safety and quality care. The role requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work on a 4x10 format Monday through Friday.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, from 07:00 to 17:30
• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10 hours each shift, totaling at least 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Surgical Assisting or relevant credentials, completion of applicable educational requirements or degrees, Ohio state licensure or registration, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working as a First Assistant in the operating room environment, familiarity with surgical protocols, and relevant certifications such as RNFA or PA.
• Schedule: Days, from 07:00 to 17:30, 4 days per week, minimum of 40 hours weekly
• Additional Information: This position requires call coverage, with a minimum of one weekday per week and at least two weekend days per month (Saturday or Sunday). Flexibility and availability for call are essential to support surgical operations.
