Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role involves providing patient care in a dedicated labor and delivery unit, supporting women through labor, childbirth, and postpartum stages. Candidates will work with a specialized team utilizing advanced monitoring and procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and at least 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Unit Description:
  • Location: 2nd floor of main hospital building in a facility with 10 labor and delivery beds, 3 triage beds, and 2 operating room suites
  • Staffing: 30 registered nurses, including charge nurses, labor and delivery nurses, and nursery staff
  • Equipment: GE monitoring systems, Novii Wireless fetal monitors, Spectrum IV pumps, CADD epidural devices, PCA pumps
  • Procedures: Inductions, Cesarean sections, Vaginal deliveries
• Personality Fit: Excellent communication skills and friendliness are ideal, fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients.
• Additional Information:
