Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation at an inpatient rehab hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing compassionate patient care for a diverse population including stroke, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic surgeries, and more. The position requires working night shifts with a focus on maximizing patient recovery and functional outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an every other weekend requirement and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania nursing license or accepted license from a compact state, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings.
• Additional Information: The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:6 to 1:7, with a patient population that includes individuals with debility, traumatic brain injury, and cerebrovascular accidents. Equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, glucometers, and INR machines. The facility features 59 beds, including a neuro unit, with a focus on specialized treatment programs certified by joint accreditation bodies. Scrub color is navy blue for nurses, and parking is available at the back of the building.
