Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurses in CASA GRANDE, Arizona, are responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with a wide range of medical conditions. This role involves assessing patient needs, formulating care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. The position emphasizes professional nursing practice following organizational policies and standards of care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license. BLS certification is required. Experience in a clinical setting for the specialty area is desired; at least one year of recent experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Professional certification relevant to the specialty is also preferred.
• Additional Information: This position involves direct patient care in a hospital setting focused on the Progressive Care Unit. The role requires physical agility, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
